Welcome to Embellish Permanent Cosmetic Artistry, a beautiful space where beautiful things happen.
As a Registered Nurse, I am able to offer from my tropical garden studio a safe, clinical yet utterly peaceful environment where my clients will feel comfortable, reassured, nurtured and in safe hands. Only registered medical professionals can offer anesthetic relief for cosmetic artistry.
I specialise in cosmetic artistry for men and women on the face and breast, and scar camouflage anywhere on the body. My clients come from many different backgrounds - from time pressed professionals who want to wake ‘ready’ with perfect eye make up, to those fighting cancer and claiming back their bodies from hair or breast loss, to older or partially sighted clients for whom cosmetic application has become a daily chore. All of them have one thing in common: they leave my studio feeling FABULOUS.
As an artist, and having an eye for detail, I include you in every step of the colour or design work to achieve the very best outcome for each individual.
Thank you for visiting my site - please do take a look at some of my work and testimonials, and do get in touch via the contacts page to discuss your requirements further.
Welcome to Embellish Permanent Cosmetic Artistry. A beautiful space where beautiful things happen. I have created this special work studio to reflect the care and passion I have for my work as both Cosmetic and Paramedical Tattoo Artist.
As a Registered Nurse, the need to provide a safe clinical environment is uppermost, but that doesn’t have to be cold, impersonal and unwelcoming.
I have created a space in which clients feel reassured, nurtured and in safe hands.
The garden studio, here on the Sunshine Coast close to Eumundi, has been custom built to provide a unique, calm environment in which I offer my services as a paramedical and cosmetic tattooist, specialising in areola/nipple complex (NAC) repigmentation, scar camouflage and semi permanent cosmetic make up including microblading.
Directions are available in the Contact section of the site
Losing a breast, for whatever reason, is devastating both physically and mentally. Thankfully, todays reconstruction techniques can help restore your shape and confidence and self esteem.
So when you feel ready, my service here on the Sunshine Coast performing natural 3D areola and nipple replication is the final step on your journey of recovery. My studio in the Noosa Hinterland provides a calm relaxing environment were respect, empathy and confidentiality is assured. The process of achieving a beautiful result depends on correct measuring and design techniques and of course the skill of the artist.
As a registered nurse, the quality and safety of all products used is unquestionable. If you or someone you know would benefit from what i can offer please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
What is Microblading and how is it done?
Microblading is used to create a natural looking brow by implanting pigment into the skin using a hand held tool that is not actually a blade but a row of tiny needles called a Microblade.
The sterile, single use blade is dipped into a mineral based pigment before being implanted 1mm into the skin to create tiny realistic hair like strokes. Multiple strokes are made which form your new thicker looking brow. Once done, they require a yearly refresh to keep them looking good for as long as possible.
Cosmetic Tattooing is a semi-permanent procedure using specially formulated pigments which are implanted into the second layer of skin unlike body tattooing, which permanent, and uses ink that is implanted much deeper into the skin.
There are many reasons why brows lose their thickness. Years of over plucking, illness, stress, medication or hormone changes all effect the growth and appearance. As we get older, our ability to keep them looking good is somewhat challenged by deteriorating eyesight, wearing glasses or disability and the task of pencilling or powdering them in every day becomes a chore.
What used to be an asset no longer frames the face. We lose expression and gain an older, tired looking face.
Microblading is a perfect way to restore brows to their former glory and turn the clock back on your looks. The process to achieve a new set of brows is done over two appointments, 6 weeks apart. More mature skin needs handling with care to avoid trauma and unnecessary swelling. It is very important not to over work the skin.
What to expect at the first appointment. Firstly you will be asked to sign a consent form for both the application of numbing cream before and during the treatment and for the cosmetic tattoo procedure. A brief medical questionnaire, contact details and a “before” photo will be taken before precise measuring done to make sure your new brows are as even and symmetrical as possible. The new shape will be drawn with pencil and pigment colour chosen to match your skin tone and colouring before any work is done. Only when you are 100% happy with the shape and colour will microblading begin.
The second appointment, is for refining the shape, adding more hairstrokes and colour adjustment. Without this second appointment the quality and longevity of your new brows is not guaranteed and will incur additional expense if done any later than 6 weeks after the initial treatment.
So does it hurt? Everyone’s experience and expectations differ greatly. The anaesthetic creams and gel I provide are specially formulated for cosmetic tattooing to provide optimum pain relief. As a Registered Nurse I can legally obtain, supply and administer them saving you the time and expense of sourcing them yourself. Some describe the sensation as being no more than a scratch while for others it can be a little uncomfortable but rest assured I will work with you to make it as comfortable as possible.
The aftercare of your brows is as important as the work I do. It’s essential that you follow the aftercare fact sheet you are provided with.

“Deb is one of the nicest people you will meet. She is so professional, and explains what she is doing step by step throughout the entire process. A big thing for me choosing Deb is the fact she is a registered nurse and able to administer anaesthetic during the procedure, something that I couldn't find anywhere else in my search for a cosmetic tattooist.
